Status: Full-time
Salary: $22–$26 per hour, based on experience

South Boulder Animal Hospital is a four-doctor small animal practice located in Boulder, Colorado. We are known for providing high-quality medicine, exceptional client service, and a supportive team culture where everyone works together and takes pride in the care we provide.
We are looking for a Licensed Veterinary Technician or Experienced Veterinary Assistant who is passionate about patient care, client service, and contributing to a positive, collaborative hospital environment. What You'll Do
- Triage patients and obtain thorough histories, vital signs, and patient assessments
- Assist veterinarians during exams, treatments, and procedures
- Perform venipuncture, catheter placement, fluid therapy, and sample collection
- Obtain high-quality radiographs and maintain imaging standards
- Run in-house laboratory testing, including CBC/chemistry, urinalysis, cytology, and fecal testing
- Support surgical and dental procedures, including preparation, monitoring, recovery, and instrument care
- Monitor anesthesia and patient vital signs during procedures
- Maintain accurate medical records and patient care documentation
- Provide compassionate patient care and excellent client service
What You'll Bring
- Current CVT, LVT, or RVT credential preferred, but not required
- Previous hands-on veterinary technician or assistant experience
- Strong technical skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and client service skills
- Ability to stay organized and manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
