Schedule: Wednesday - Friday 8 am - 6 pm

What You'll Do

  • Assist veterinarians with physical examinations, vaccinations, surgeries, dental procedures, euthanasia, and client education
  • Clean, disinfect, and sterilize equipment and treatment areas
  • Monitor and accurately record patient vital signs
  • Provide compassionate nursing care and support for patients
  • Maintain kennels and treatment areas to hospital cleanliness standards
  • Safely restrain animals during examinations and procedures
  • Perform diagnostic imaging and laboratory procedures as directed by veterinarians
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by veterinarians
  • Observe patient behavior and communicate findings to the veterinary team
  • Complete medical SOAP notes and maintain accurate patient records
  • Monitor patient flow and help maintain efficient room turnover
  • Assist with opening and closing duties and daily hospital checklists
  • Support hospital efficiency and maintain a positive client experience
  • Follow all hospital policies, protocols, and safety standards
