What You’ll Do
- Triage patients and obtain thorough histories, vitals, and patient assessments
- Prepare and administer medications, vaccines, and treatments as directed
- Perform venipuncture, catheter placement, fluid therapy, and sample collection
- Run in-house laboratory testing including CBC/chemistry, urinalysis, cytology, and fecals
- Support surgical and dental procedures including patient prep, monitoring, recovery, and instrument care
- Monitor anesthesia and patient vitals during procedures while maintaining accurate records
- Educate clients on medications, discharge instructions, preventative care, and patient care plans
- Obtain high-quality radiographs and maintain imaging standards
- Collaborate with the veterinary team to maintain efficient workflow and positive hospital culture
- Provide compassionate care and exceptional communication to clients and patients alike
What Our RVTs Bring
- Credentialed Veterinary Technician (RVT) preferred
- Previous client care experience preferred
- Comfort working in a fast-paced clinical environment
