Position Details

  • Role: Experienced or Licensed Veterinary Technician
  • Status: Full-time
  • Salary: Negotiable and based on experience & licensure
  • Schedule: Monday 1 PM-5 PM, Tuesday 8 PM-6 PM, Wednesday 8 AM-5 PM, Thursday 1 PM-6 PM, Friday 1 PM-6 PM. One Saturday per month, 8 AM-1 PM

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Veterinary Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and passionate about animal care. This role involves assisting veterinarians with examinations, treatments, surgery preparation, laboratory work, and client education.

What You’ll Do

  • Assist veterinarians during exams and medical procedures
  • Monitor anesthesia and support surgical procedures
  • Collect and process laboratory samples
  • Administer medications and vaccinations as directed
  • Perform radiographs and diagnostic testing
  • Maintain accurate medical records and patient histories
  • Educate pet owners on treatment plans, medications, and preventive care
  • Ensure a clean, safe, and organized clinical environment
  • Provide compassionate handling and care for animals

What Our Veterinary Technicians Bring

  • Veterinary Technician certification/license preferred, but not required.
  • Previous veterinary clinic experience required
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Knowledge of animal restraint, anesthesia monitoring, and laboratory procedures
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
