Position Details
- Role: Veterinary Assistant
- Status: Full-time
- Salary: $17.13–$20.00 per hour
- Schedule: Monday - Friday with rotating Saturdays 1 - 2 per month

What You’ll Do as a Veterinary Assistant
- Assist veterinarians and technicians with patient care and treatments
- Support exam room flow and surgical procedures
- Help obtain radiographs and assist with blood draws
- Prepare and maintain treatment and exam areas
- Communicate compassionately with clients and team members
- Support patient care for dogs, cats, birds, reptiles, and exotic pets
- Maintain accurate records and assist with daily hospital operations
What Our Veterinary Assistants Bring
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Compassion for patients, clients, and coworkers
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Desire to continue learning and growing in veterinary medicine
- Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 40 pounds
- 1–2 years of Veterinary Assistant experience preferred
- Willingness to obtain and maintain a Washington Medication Clerk License (training provided)
