Position Details

- Status: Part-time
- Salary: Negotiable and based on experience
- Schedule: Monday-Thursday, 7 hours per day - 10:00 am - 5:00 pm

Are you looking for a challenging role within the veterinary field?
Capitol Area Animal Medical Center is looking for an individual with veterinary care experience to care for our clients and support our doctor teams. This role plays an integral part in bringing comfort to our patients as well as ensuring proper organization and flow within our hospital. Knowledge of routine animal care, such as vaccines, pharmacology, and anesthesia as well as the readiness to care for scared or injured animals, are some of the skills we are looking for with this opportunity. If you are organized, quick on your feet, and have a love for caring for animals, then an Assistant/CSR role may be the position for you!
Daily responsibilities include:
- Managing multiple phone lines
- Booking appointments
- Greeting clients
- Processing payments
As well as:
- Pharmacology calculations
- Surgical prep, monitoring, and recovery
- Venipuncture and IV catheter placement expertise

The base pay offered will vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. This is a part-time position with no weekends or evenings.
