Position Details
- Role: Experienced Veterinary Assistant
- Status: Full-time
- Salary: $18 – $22 per hour
- Schedule: 4 x 10-hour shifts

What You’ll Provide
- Safe and effective patient handling and restraint
- Knowledge of preventative care and vaccines
- Obtaining diagnostics - including radiographs, phlebotomy, and sample collection, and performing in-house lab work
- Professional, compassionate communication with clients and staff
- Succinct documentation of patient records and client interactions
What Our Veterinary Assistants Bring
- Knowledge of preventative care and vaccines
- Excellent patient handling skills, with a focus on low-stress or Fear Free techniques
- Ability to accurately triage patients and obtain thorough medical histories
- Experience with anesthesia monitoring
- Diagnostics - including radiographs, phlebotomy and sample collection, and in-house lab work
- Professional, compassionate communication with clients and staff
- A positive attitude, reliability, and a genuine passion for veterinary medicine
