Position Details
- Role: Licensed Veterinary Technician
- Status: Full-time
- Salary: Negotiable and based on experience & licensure
- Schedule: Our working hours are 7:30-5:30, Monday - Friday, and 7:30-12:30 on Saturdays.
The normal schedule is one to two half days and every other Saturday, after a 90-day probation period, for approximately 40 hrs.

Clarksville Veterinary Clinic is a three-doctor practice with a dedicated team committed to providing exceptional patient care. Our clinic has served Southside Virginia and surrounding communities for over 25 years, offering a range of services from preventive healthcare and internal medicine to advanced orthopedic surgery. Our staff is committed to providing compassionate, high-quality care and upholding the highest standards in veterinary medicine.
We are seeking a full-time licensed veterinary technician who can handle animals and assist veterinarians during exams and treatments. A passion for animal care and a pleasant personality are ideal for this role.
Requirements:

Daily responsibilities include:
- Triage patients and obtain thorough histories, vitals, and patient assessments
- Assist veterinarians during exams, treatments, and procedures
- Provide compassionate, high-quality nursing care to patients from intake through discharge
- Animal care and holding
- Answer phones and greet clients and patients with warmth and professionalism
