Position Details

  • Role: Experienced Veterinary Assistant or Registered Veterinary Technician
  • Status: Full-time
  • Salary: Negotiable and based on experience
  • Schedule: 4-day work week. Enjoy a balanced schedule with 4 ten-hour shifts during the week, giving you plenty of time for personal life, relaxation, and adventures!

A Bit About Us

  • We’re a general practice hospital open Monday through Friday (7 am-6 pm).
  • We see a wide variety of appointments, including GP visits and occasional urgent care walk-ins.
  • We perform soft tissue surgeries and dental procedures 4 days a week.
  • Our patients are primarily dogs, cats, and exotics.

What You’ll Contribute (Depending on RVT Status)

  • Safe and effective patient handling and restraint
  • Knowledge of preventative care and vaccines
  • Attentive induction, monitoring, and recovery of surgical patients
  • Emergency and surgical care - including IV catheter placement and intubation
  • Obtaining diagnostics - including radiographs, phlebotomy, and sample collection, and performing in-house lab work
  • Professional, compassionate communication with clients and staff
  • Succinct documentation of patient records and client interactions
