Edgewood Veterinary Clinic is ready to hire a part-time Licensed Veterinary Technician to join our team! The training and skills of our LVTs are among our most valued assets. We want to see you succeed with your existing skills and develop new ones.  


This is a great position to help with surgeries and dentals. We are looking for 2-3 days a week, with availability for Mondays and every 3rd Saturday.  We are open Monday, Wednesday, Friday 8:30 am-5:30 pm, Tuesday and Thursday 8:30 am-6:30 pm, and Saturday 9 am-4 pm.

Duties Include:

  • Assist veterinarians with advanced patient care, including exams, treatments, surgeries, and anesthesia monitoring
  • Perform skilled technical procedures such as IV catheter placement, blood draws, and nursing care for hospitalized patients
  • Conduct diagnostic testing, including laboratory analysis, radiology, and sample collection
  • Administer medications, vaccines, and therapeutic treatments in compliance with medical protocols
  • Provide client education, maintain detailed medical records, and support high standards of patient care and safety
