What Our Veterinary Technicians Bring
- Experience as a veterinary assistant or technician
- Confidence in patient handling and clinical skills
- Strong technical ability (venipuncture, catheter placement, diagnostics)
- Knowledge of preventive care, vaccines, and pharmacology
- Excellent communication with clients and team
- Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast‑paced setting
- Team‑first mindset and a positive attitude
- Avimark experience is a plus
What You’ll Do
- Triage patients, take histories, and perform assessments
- Support veterinarians during exams, treatments, and procedures
- Provide compassionate nursing care from intake to discharge
- Administer medications, vaccines, and treatments
- Perform venipuncture, catheter placement, and sample collection
- Run in‑house diagnostics (CBC/Chem, UA, fecals, cytology, etc.)
- Obtain high‑quality radiographs
- Use low‑stress/Fear Free handling techniques
- Educate clients clearly and compassionately
- Maintain accurate medical records
- Support hospital workflow and uphold a positive culture
