Position Details

  • Role: Certified Veterinary Technician
  • Status: Full-time
  • Salary: Negotiable and based on experience and credentials
  • Schedule: 4-day work week, Monday through Thursday, 7am - 4pm or 8am - 5pm, one 5-hour Saturday shift per month

What Our Veterinary Technicians Bring

  • Current CVT credential in Wisconsin
  • 2+ years of small animal clinical experience preferred (New graduates welcome to apply!)
  • Safe and effective patient handling and restraint
  • Knowledge of preventative care and vaccines
  • Knowledge of anesthesia monitoring, induction, and recovery
  • Dental experience preferred
  • Ability to accurately triage patients and obtain thorough medical histories
  • Solid technical skills, including venipuncture, IV catheter placement, and laboratory procedures
  • A collaborative, team-first mindset with a willingness to jump in where needed
  • Commitment to continued learning, growth, and professional development
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
  • Comfort working on your feet in a fast-paced environment

What You’ll Do

  • Assist veterinarians with exams, diagnostics, and treatments
  • Perform venipuncture, catheter placement, and lab procedures
  • Monitor anesthesia and assist with surgical procedures
  • Take and process radiographs
  • Administer medications and vaccinations as directed
  • Provide nursing care and patient monitoring
  • Educate clients on preventive care and post-operative instructions
  • Maintain accurate and thorough medical records
  • Help maintain a clean, organized, and safe hospital
