Position Details
- Role: Certified Veterinary Technician
- Status: Full-time
- Salary: Negotiable and based on experience and credentials
- Schedule: 4-day work week, Monday through Thursday, 7am - 4pm or 8am - 5pm, one 5-hour Saturday shift per month

What Our Veterinary Technicians Bring
- Current CVT credential in Wisconsin
- 2+ years of small animal clinical experience preferred (New graduates welcome to apply!)
- Safe and effective patient handling and restraint
- Knowledge of preventative care and vaccines
- Knowledge of anesthesia monitoring, induction, and recovery
- Dental experience preferred
- Ability to accurately triage patients and obtain thorough medical histories
- Solid technical skills, including venipuncture, IV catheter placement, and laboratory procedures
- A collaborative, team-first mindset with a willingness to jump in where needed
- Commitment to continued learning, growth, and professional development
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Comfort working on your feet in a fast-paced environment
What You’ll Do
- Assist veterinarians with exams, diagnostics, and treatments
- Perform venipuncture, catheter placement, and lab procedures
- Monitor anesthesia and assist with surgical procedures
- Take and process radiographs
- Administer medications and vaccinations as directed
- Provide nursing care and patient monitoring
- Educate clients on preventive care and post-operative instructions
- Maintain accurate and thorough medical records
- Help maintain a clean, organized, and safe hospital
