Come and join our fun and fabulous team! We are looking for the newest member of our amazing medical staff. We would love to meet you and give you a tour of our beautiful hospital! This job requires a minimum associate degree from an accredited school for veterinary technology. We will only accept applicants who qualify.
We will consider vet tech students enrolled or enrolling in an accredited school of veterinary technology! Duties include:
- Inpatient and outpatient care
- Patient admits/discharges
- Venipuncture and catheter placement
- Administering SQ, IM, IV PO medications
- Surgical assistance: Administering, intubating, maintaining, monitoring and recovering patients from anesthesia.
- Dentistry
- Radiology
- Drug calculations
- Running in-house lab tests and reference lab requisitions
- Client communication
- Dispense medications per doctor’s orders
- Manage tech appointments: blood draws, nail trims, suture removals, & injections.
- Ability to work rotating shifts: evenings & weekends.
