Naticook Veterinary Hospital is seeking an experienced full-time Certified Veterinary Technician to join our dedicated team. We are a small animal practice with three compassionate and experienced doctors. We take pride in providing high-quality care in a supportive, collaborative and friendly environment. We’re looking for a friendly, professional and dependable individual who enjoys working with both people and pets to contribute to our positive workplace culture.
The ideal candidate is self-motivated, team-oriented, and eager to grow in a collaborative setting. Experience with surgical procedures and dental care is preferred, but we’re happy to train the right individual who shares our commitment to learning and excellent patient care.

- Strong customer service skills and a friendly, professional demeanor.
- Ability to remain upbeat, courteous, and calm under pressure during busy or challenging situations with clients and all other team members.
- Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Word, e-mail, and data entry. Experience using Avimark is a plus.
- Experience with standard office procedures and multitasking in a busy environment.
- Flexible attitude with the ability to adapt changing priorities and assist where needed.
- Eagerness and willingness to learn.
How You'll Spend the Day
- Assisting veterinarians during exams, treatments, dentals and surgical procedures
- Monitoring anesthesia and providing post-operative care
- Performing laboratory tests, collecting samples, and running diagnostics
- Administering medications, vaccinations and treatments as directed by a doctor
- Maintaining accurate medical records and supporting client communication
- Providing compassionate and safe handling and care for patients of all temperaments
- Helping to maintain a clean, organized, and efficient hospital environment
