- Salary: Negotiable and based on experience
- Schedule: 4 day week, 10hr shifts
or 5 day week, 8hr shifts

Located in the beautiful hill country in Southwest Austin, Austin Veterinary Diagnostic Hospital puts all parts of a veterinary clinic and an animal hospital under one roof, catering to both routine and advanced care of your pets.
Our clients appreciate our commitment to provide all veterinary services in one location on the same day (in most cases). We have a full suite of diagnostic technology enabling us to conduct ALL procedures in-house for client convenience. This includes a CT scan, an ultrasound machine, endoscope/arthroscope equipment, a CO2 surgical laser, a dental xray handgun, a fully equipped laboratory, and more!!
The friendly, talented, and compassionate doctors and staff are trained to diagnose and treat the most difficult cases with success. AVDH has been proudly serving the Austin area for over 45 years! Veterinary Technician Requirements:
- 2 years Veterinary Technician experience (preferred)
- Reasonable commute to Austin Veterinary Diagnostic Hospital
- Surgery & Anesthesia monitoring experience (preferred)
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Friendly, team-oriented attitude
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs
- Weekend availability on a rotating schedule
- Thrive in a fast-paced high stress environment
- Minimum of 2 professional references that can be contacted
- Passion for continual education and professional development
- You work hard, but have fun too!
