South Arbor Animal Hospital is looking for a Licensed Veterinary Technician to add to our dedicated team. **No weekends, no late nights, Wednesdays or Tuesdays off**

Our Veterinary Technicians must be ready to:

Responsibilities:

  • Assist veterinarians in providing medical care to patients
  • Complete testing and treatments prescribed by veterinarian
  • Under the guidance of veterinarian monitor anesthetic procedures
  • Perform anesthetic dental cleanings of canine and feline patients
  • Maintain accurate records of patient care and treatment
  • Educate pet owners on proper animal care

Skills:

  • Aseptic surgical assistant techniques
  • Anesthetic monitoring
  • Canine and feline dental radiography
  • Venipuncture and intravenous catheter placement
  • Proficiency in veterinary terminology and procedures
