Roaring Brook Veterinary Hospital is on the hunt for an experienced veterinary assistant or technician to join their growing practice. Responsibilities may include patient care, client education, surgical preparation, maintaining a clean working environment, etc. Working together to establish and uphold the highest standards of patient care, we believe that to care for our patients, we must also care for each other. Duties include:
- Assist veterinarians and technicians during exams, treatments, and procedures
- Safely restrain animals for exams, blood draws, and treatments
- Clean and disinfect exam rooms, kennels, and equipment
- Feed, water, walk, and monitor hospitalized or boarding animals
- Prepare supplies, medications, and instruments for daily procedures
