- Status: Full-time
- Salary: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour based on experience
- Schedule: Flexible Monday through Friday schedule; no nights, weekends, or holiday hours!

What Our Veterinary Assistants Bring
- At least 2 years of experience as a Veterinary Assistant in a clinical setting
- A caring, empathetic approach toward pets and their families
- Strong multitasking skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Reliability, professionalism, and a friendly attitude
- Basic computer proficiency; experience with AviMark or similar veterinary software is a plus
- A collaborative spirit and genuine passion for veterinary care
- Critical thinking, curiosity, and a can-do attitude
- A love for teamwork, teaching, and being taught
- Commitment to compassionate medicine and a great client experience
What You’ll Do
- Assist veterinarians during exams, procedures, and surgeries to ensure safe, efficient patient care
- Perform blood draws, collect lab samples, and prepare tests with accuracy and attention to detail
- Monitor and record vital signs, administer medications under supervision, and provide gentle animal handling and restraint
- Maintain clean, organized treatment and exam areas following hospital protocols
- Communicate clearly with clients, educating them about their pet’s care and ensuring their questions are answered
- Update electronic medical records accurately (experience with AviMark preferred)
- Support the team as needed — from lab work to front desk help — to keep the hospital running smoothly
