Position Details

  • Role: Licensed Veterinary Technician
  • Status: Full-time
  • Salary: $24.00 - $29.00 per hour; based on experience 
  • Schedule: Flexible 4-day work week - Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, with an occasional Saturday shift when needed

What Our Veterinary Technicians Bring

  • Current Veterinary Technician license (or eligibility) in New York.
  • Hands-on clinical experience in a veterinary setting.
  • Strong technical skills — from anesthesia and surgery to radiology and laboratory work.
  • Excellent communication and multitasking abilities.

What You’ll Do

  • Provide high-quality nursing care to patients across wellness, medical, surgical, and dental services.
  • Assist veterinarians during exams, anesthesia, surgery, and dentistry.
  • Perform and interpret diagnostic tests, including lab work, radiographs, and more.
  • Monitor anesthesia and patient recovery with precision and care.
  • Administer medications, injections, and vaccines as directed by the veterinarian.
  • Communicate clearly and compassionately with clients about patient care, treatment plans, and follow-up needs.
  • Maintain accurate medical records and ensure equipment and instruments are clean and ready for use.
  • Contribute to a positive team environment — share your ideas, your sense of humor, and maybe even your latest craft project!
