- Status: Full-time
- Salary: Competitive and based on experience
- Schedule: Flexible 4-day work weeks with rotating 8:00 am - 12:00 pm Saturday shifts

What Our Certified Veterinary Technicians Bring
- Licensed or eligible for licensure as a Certified Veterinary Technician in the state of Illinois
- Strong skills in anesthesia, dentistry, radiology, and laboratory procedures
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Critical thinking, curiosity, and a can-do attitude
- Reliability and professionalism in a fast-paced setting
- Commitment to compassionate medicine and a great client experience
- A positive attitude, compassion, and genuine enthusiasm for veterinary medicine
- Experience with large animals or mixed practice is a plus — but a solid small-animal background and great attitude go a long way!
What You’ll Do
- Confidently handle and restrain both small and large animals
- Perform technical procedures, including venipuncture, catheter placement, anesthesia monitoring, dental prophylaxis, and radiology
- Assist in surgery and manage anesthesia safely and effectively
- Provide excellent patient care following established treatment protocols
- Support doctors in exams and communicate clearly with clients and teammates
- Keep organized and multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Participate in continuing education and mentorship opportunities
- Communicate with warmth, clarity, and confidence
