Animal Hospital at Baldwin Park is a progressive, full-service veterinary hospital located in the heart of Orlando, Florida. As we continue to grow, we’re looking to add a dedicated and experienced Veterinary Technician to our team.

 

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Experienced Veterinary Technician who thrives in a fast-paced environment and shares our passion for animal health and client education. The ideal candidate will be confident in both technical and interpersonal skills, bringing a positive attitude and strong work ethic to every shift.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist veterinarians with exams, diagnostics, and surgeries
  • Perform venipuncture, IV catheter placement, and laboratory testing
  • Monitor anesthesia and post-operative recovery
  • Administer medications, vaccines, and treatments
  • Educate clients on pet care, nutrition, and home treatments
  • Maintain accurate patient records and ensure a clean, safe hospital environment
  • Support front desk staff with scheduling and client communications as needed

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years of veterinary technician experience in a clinical setting (required)
  • Certified Veterinary Technician (CVT, LVT, or RVT) preferred but NOT required
  • Strong skills in anesthesia monitoring, surgical assistance, and client communication
  • Familiarity with veterinary software (Ezyvet or similar preferred)
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
  • Team-oriented with a strong commitment to compassionate patient care
