Position Details
- Role: Veterinary Assistant
- Status: Full-time
- Salary: $16–$18 per hour
- Schedule: Option for a 4 day a week or 5 day a week schedule and 1-2 Saturdays per month.

St. Francis Animal Hospital is a thriving 6 doctor small animal practice centrally located in Roseville, MN. We are seeking a friendly, customer and team focused Veterinary Assistant to join our outstanding team and help us provide compassionate care for our patients and clients.
Job Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED
- 18 years of age or older
- Ability to meet the physical demands of the position - lifting, squatting, sitting/kneeling on floor, pushing/pulling, and extended standing and movement.

Job Duties Include (but are not limited to):
- Provide excellent patient care and client service
- Patient Restraint in exam rooms and treatment areas
- Ensure hospital cleanliness and organization
- Hospital laundry
- Walking and feeding patients
- Maintaining patient kennels
- Awareness of patients’ emotional and physical well-being
- Cleaning and sterilizing surgical instruments
- Digital radiology procedures
- Maintain medical records
- Utilize hospital technology – AviMark, multiline phone system, email, voicemails, PetDesk, VetSource, and Slack
- Other duties as assigned
