- Schedule: Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. - 5:00 a.m. or 8:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. Rotating Saturdays, 8:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.

Countryside Veterinary Service in Champion is in search of a Lead Veterinary Technician. We are a busy, three-doctor practice in Champion, Ohio. We are a general practice, but function somewhat as an urgent care depending on the needs of our clients/community. Surgery is performed 4-5 days per week, and procedures vary from elective operations to emergency surgeries as needed.

Our Lead Veterinary Technician Will Contribute to The Team by:
- Training new staff members
- Assisting with scheduling
- Managing staff interpersonal relationships
- Discussing issues with staff and working with management to ensure issues are addressed and appropriate action is taken
- Encouraging a positive work environment and coming up with new ways to improve staff morale
- Filling in for different departments as needed
- Assisting with equipment maintenance/understanding how equipment works and relaying to staff members. Meeting with reps as needed.
- Controlled substance/expiration date surveillance
- Other tasks as needed depending on the needs of the clinic
