Position Details

  • Role: Experienced Veterinary Assistant
  • Status: Full-time
  • Salary: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour, negotiable based on experience
  • Schedule: Monday through Friday

What You’ll Do

  • Celebrate the moments that matter — birthdays, babies, anniversaries
  • Assist with exams, surgeries, dental procedures, vaccinations, and euthanasia

  • Provide client education and compassionate support to pet owners

  • Clean and sterilize equipment and maintain treatment areas

  • Monitor and record patient vitals accurately

  • Administer medications as prescribed by the DVM

  • Perform lab work and diagnostic imaging as needed

  • Restrain animals safely and humanely during exams or treatments

  • Observe and report changes in patient behavior or condition

  • Keep medical records and SOAP notes current and complete daily

  • Maintain hospital flow and efficiency, ensuring clients are seen promptly

  • Participate in maintaining daily checklists, logs, and hospital cleanliness
